Ida B. Wells High School Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Glen Coblens is offering a series of summer camps for all incoming 3rd - 8th graders. (Based on grade in the Fall of 2024). Camp Sessions:

- August 5-8, 2024
Time:
9:30-11:30 am for girls entering grades 3-5 ($100)
Noon-3:30 pm for girls entering grades 6-8 ($150)
Location:
Wells HS Gym
(Enter through Foyer doors nearest the pool on Hillsdale side of building.)
Camp will focus on:
- Having fun with Basketball
- Shooting Skills
- Passing Skills
- Rebounding Skills
- Defensive Skills
- Ball-Handling Skills
- Court Awareness
- Screening Fundamentals
- Footwork
- Communication
While the camp will be stressing the importance of FUN-damentals, it will also be stressing the importance of teamwork, hard work, and dedication. All camp participants will receive a Wells Basketball T-shirt. The camp will be run by the high school coaching staff along with returning players in the HS program.
Campers should bring their own water bottle each day.
